Recap: Rainbow Pop-up Card

Hello readers! There's a huge story behind this card! I originally wanted to do a pop up with irregular steps following a YouTube tutorial! Then everything started going wrong.
My pop up stairs kept tearing, I tore off three bases in anger because it just wouldn't work. I finally then gave up on the tutorials and attempted a simple fold stairs myself and it worked!

I coordinated the envelope with the inside of my card. The rainbow was made using strips of paper since I had no dies to cut out the curve of an actual rainbow!

For the cover I initially wanted to do a shaker, but I was so tired from the earlier failures to create  the pop-up that I decided to just keep it simple and put a raised element inside the frame that I popped up on the base using foam tapes! I also added the same flowers to the corners of the card since, I couldn't come up with a different idea at that moment!

Here's a close look at the card, the concept was "Stairway to heaven" ? I really wanted to create a flower pop up card and sat down to make this all of a sudden. I absolutely love the cloud pattern paper that I got from The Hungry JPEG website as a freebie! I edited the sentiments on illustrator in preferred size.

For the back, I went with my signature look of a strip and a logo, because the card already had a lot going on, on it.

Here's a tiny video to show you how it looks when opened. I never expected someone would ask to purchase this card or let alone love it! It was heartwarming to see it being appreciated by a non-crafter!

Hope you will have a great day ahead.

Love,
Foo💜
