Hello readers, It has been quite a long time since I last posted here, things have been a bit hectic here. Hope you all are doing well! So, I do have one good news, I always dreamed of joining a DT ( Design team) and I finally got into the Syncopation Design creative team, thanks to my friend!
The first set I worked with was the "8bit" set, I used the pocket cards and the elements from the set to create this card, you can check out rest of her amazing collections at SyncopationDesign Etsy shop.
As soon as I saw the set I was inspired to create those old game starting pages, I printed out the elements and fussy cut them, this was a lot of fun! Then I used one of the pocket cards as my card background. The colors are really beautiful and vibrant and looks much prettier in real life.
For the inside of the card I used another pocket card and to decorate the top I used some fussy cut 8-bit stars from the set.
For the envelope and the backside of the card I used the black strip from the elements of the set to match them. For the envelope I used the sentiment "level up" and the 8-bit heart, fussy cutting the heart was probably my most favorite part of the process.
It was fun to work with digital elements completely. Usually making a card is a pretty long process, grouping die cuts or sentiments, planning their position, cutting, stamping and all. But these pocket cards and elements made things easier to do and I could make cards pretty easily with them!
Thank you for reading through the end, March was a bit busy for me therefore I could not update the blog much, I apologize for that! Hope you'll like this card. Have a great day!
Love,
Foo💜
