A while back, my friend showed me an Instagram hop notice which really caught my eyes. I decided to participate in the wonderful card hop raising awareness against racism.
This hop was arranged by the crafter: Nausheen Shaikh Lee

"After the recent rash of violence committed against Asian Americans, a few of us card makers have come together to take a stand & bring awareness to end these senseless hate crimes. It is gut-wrenching to watch these violent acts without thinking that this could have been a friend or family member."
Racism is very common in our country too, and also faced widely by my acquaintances who are living abroad as well. So I wanted to address all skin tones, sending out the message, no matter what skin color you have, you belong!
I took a skin tone swatch from a picture on the internet and made my own background on Adobe illustrator. The sentiments as well were taken from Pinterest saves. I often go on Pinterest to look for interests and save a bunch of sentiments for future uses.
Here's the inside of the card. Fun fact: I actually wanted to record the entire process, and I did. At the end of the recording suddenly my phone didn't save the video at all, because it was too big!
I did have enough memory.
I really loved making this envelope, the decoration was simple yet beautiful.
Here's the video of the card so that you can have a better look:
Since, you are already here, don't forget to check out Nausheen's IG for the hop, the other crafters did a wonderful job creating the cards!
Hope you'll have a great day ahead!
Love,
Foo💜
