Sunflower Easel Card

Hello dear readers! Hope you all are doing well. I am here to share with you all  another easel card, that I made yesterday!

We had a sunflower theme challenge in our local craft group, at first I thought I won't be participating as I was not getting an idea. I printed out random pattern paper, and sat down to make something. Honestly in the beginning, I didn't feel like making anything, then I messed up one different fold. I decided to stick to something I know and went ahead with creating an easel card. It's so fun to make and looks fancy!

So here, I used the free colorful autumn digital papers from my most favorite freebie website Free Pretty Things For You. I absolutely love this! As soon as I saw the paper I knew I had to cut out the leaves like this, and it went perfectly with the card!

The Yellow pattern is from Argyle Paper Pack-TCM and FPTFY-Part Two and the wooden pattern is the Free Distressed Wood Background, both from Free Pretty Things For You again!

I followed this template, down to the measurements for creating my easel card:

Once again, this card may look complicated, but trust me it's super easy to make, and totally worth it!

I decorated the inside of the card with the rest of the patterns I had, I was really happy with how the patterns went well with each other!

I made this card at night, by the time I was done making it, it was I think already past 12AM. I had a long day that day. So, I kept it very simple (usually I overdo these kinds of cards).

The envelope was not planned at all, this was a trial print using the file from my last flipbook print arrangement, using our new printer! So I decided not to waste it, and used it to make an envelope. I am really happy with how it came out!

Here's the video of the card so you all can see how it opens up:

Hope you all will have a great week ahead, I'll be back soon with another card, till then take care and stay crafty!

Love,
Foo💜
