Animal Themed Shaker Flipbook

Hello my dear readers, hope you all are doing well. I'm doing a little better today, as I am writing this, I am enjoying the cool wind and warm sun, on my swing after a long time! I made this flipbook few days ago for the birthday of my precious friend.
This flipbook was inspired by the animal theme challenge that was going on at that time at the male room challenge. I initially wanted to make a card, but all the layers of foam tape and elements turned it into a flipbook!

All the cute animals here are from the DesignBundles-Cute-Creators-Vector-Set ! It felt like the perfect fit, since my friend likes adorable things. For the front, I decided to go with a shaker with an embossed frame! I love this lemon green paper, it is so vibrant!

This is the view when you first open it, I blurred the picture here to protect privacy! I decided to go with little décor for this panel, since I had limited elements printed out ( because I thought I'd make a card). The bottom one is a panel for message, the top panel opens out to reveal two different panels!

I edited the sentiments in Adobe Illustrator using fonts from Fontbundles, they have amazing free fonts! and since no other décor was going with this particular panel, I decided to die cut ' happy day'.

This is the full open view of the flipbook, I love love love the top panel! ( I know I made it, but it went so well with the photo and the pattern!).

This has to be the cutest embellishment I have used till today!

I made an envelope using my envelope maker, this can hold gift card and a note, I loved the tiny dinosaur, it felt like it was destined to be used in this panel. I finished off the panel with white tissue ribbon to give it a softer look.

If I had to re-do anything on this flipbook, I would probably use a more vibrant pattern on this final panel rather than the brick pattern, I believe that would've tied in the whole thing together. I really struggled to finish this panel this simply, as nothing was fitting in with the pattern.

Here's the backside of the flipbook, my usual go to décor for the backside!

I am pretty satisfied with the envelope, it was made days after the flipbook, because I was really struggling with blue days. I originally wanted to make a box envelope in the lime green for this using the envelope punch board but it didn't work out. I also ran out of yellow paper. All i could use was these two sheets of A4 yellow and green paper. So, I combined them to make a box envelope.

I was really happy with the decoration of envelope. I tied it in with the wonderful lime green satin ribbon I received as a part of happy mail from this crafty friend of mine!

Hope you all liked this little project of mine. I have been very inconsistent with crafting since this year began but I plan to try out more unique projects soon. What surprised me the most is I am slowly getting comfortable with fussy cutting and using printed embellishments!
I'll come back soon with another fun craft, till then take care and stay warm!

Love,
Foo💜
