Hello dear readers, I am back again with another card I'd love to show you all, my blue and white window shaker card.
I love making shaker cards! Since I do not have a big die cutting machine (my one cuts up to 3 inches in width), I am unable to cut out one single embossed frame for this card, this is when I came up with the idea of joining little strips of embossed paper like the doorframes we have in our house.
This flower decor is something you might see in multiple cards in my collection, this was inspired by my favourite crafter Natasha Foote. This was the first card I applied this to. I've linked the video in the previous post for you all to check out!
This has to be one of my favourite in-card designs. I had these mini doily dies that I had decided to divide in four and use as corners.
Blings! Yes you heard that right! I love to put stones/ pearls on my cards, I believe without them it'd look very empty!
Finally, the envelope! Oh God I hate making envelopes! I cant't live without them either. I believe every card is incomplete without envelopes. Initially, I would run away from making envelopes but then took it as a challenge to make customized and decorated ones for each card!
On this one, I decided to utilize the doily corners again, but in blue so it stands out in white.
I raised the little panel for the name of the receiver, using foam tape to add dimension since I was using white on white!
Hope you love my little card, it was fun to make, so I did another version in pink, I'll upload it right after this!
Thank you for all your support, it truly means alot to me!
Love,
Foo
